Through the delivery of intensive family services across Tayside, supporting families from early intervention to ‘edge of care’ with practical, emotional and therapeutic support. The Hardship fund provides material/ financial help for families with complex needs to alleviate financial pressures and improve wellbeing for the whole family, enhancing the wellbeing impact of our practical whole-family support approaches.
Our Financial wellbeing coordinator support our families to access appropriate money and debt advice, we will help to increase your income, check your entitlement to benefits and consider reductions in council tax and fuel bills where appropriate. We can support families to reduce bills and help to get access to grants to support families wellbeing and growth and facilitate engagement with money advice services. We can also access the hardship fund to mitigate the impact of debt for families.
In an emergency, we can facilitate access to food, utilities and other forms of emergency support locally.
