We organise adventure holidays and trips for children and young people with disabilities.
We offer extra support so that children with disabilities can enjoy the same outward bound trips as other children.
We welcome children from across Scotland with learning disabilities, autism, or more complex physical and health needs.
Options Adventures is more than a short breaks service – it offers life enriching experiences for children and young people, and memories that will last a lifetime. Activities could include kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, hiking, camping, team building, quad biking, aviation or football coaching.
Our specialist short breaks service benefits the children we take on trips as well as the rest of the family. Parents get a break from their roles as carers, while siblings benefit from extra time with mum or dad. In the meantime, the much-loved child with a disability, has lots of fun with us trying different activities and making new friends.
We take care of all the organising for each trip, such as accommodation and catering. Most importantly, we make sure that all children’s needs are taken care of.
Parents, carers and young people can get in touch to enquire about our latest activities. We’re also open to enquiries from local authorities, social workers, commissioners and self-directed support organisations.
