Our family support workers develop trusting relationships with children and their families to provide supports at home, in the community and in school. We are led by the individual needs of a child, young person or parent, and work with them to make a suitable support plan to achieve shared goals/outcomes.
We offer family work, or work with individual members of the family. This can be practical supports such as attending appointments.
We facilitate a variety of group work, including SMART recovery, wellbeing and mental health support and parenting support.
Our commissioned service works with children and families to tackle disadvantage and trauma caused by drug and alcohol use. Self-referrals as well as referrals are accepted from all professional sources. Support can be intensive, short, and long term with particular focus on tackling recovery and relapse prevention for long-term achievements. The service delivery core hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5pm.
