A family crisis can happen at any time. That’s why Aberlour’s Sustain Service in Angus is there for families every day.
We provide accessible, high-quality, home-based family support for Angus children to ensure they remain at home whenever possible.
We help families overcome their challenges and difficulties by building long-term relationships that help them get back on their feet. Our approach is to create personalised support for both children and their parents.
By being available every day (from 8 am-9 pm), we ensure we are there when families most need support.
Our team recognise that parents know the most about their family circumstances. We work actively to identify the areas where they are managing and those where they need extra help. The service is flexible in its intensity and aims to encourage the building of family routines, resilience and improve parental confidence.
All referrals come through Angus Council.
“Aberlour will provide the right support in the right way at the time families need it most. We believe all families have amazing strengths and capacities and we will focus on helping them through difficult times and overcoming the difficulties that they face.”
– Jim Wallace, Director of Children and Families – Aberlour
