We offer short breaks and residential services for children and young people with a disability.

Based in Glenrothes, we support children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, or more complex physical and health needs.

How We Help

We make life easier for families where a child has a disability by offering a safe and homely environment for a child to come and stay.

Residential Houses

Our residential houses include four purpose-built flats (Continuing Care) and a three-bedroom residential house (McNally House). Young people in our flats and house are provided with 24-hour care in a secure and loving home, while still living close to their friends and family. With our help, young people can secure their independence, take part in their hobbies, and participate in activities in their community. They get the same encouragement they would find in a family home environment, and family members are always welcome to visit regularly.

Short Breaks Service

Our short breaks service, Rainbow Heart Cottage, provides children aged 6-18 years with a safe, nurturing, homely environment. While staying at Rainbow Heart Cottage, children can enjoy a range of fun activities. This is very much a ‘home away from home’ for the children who stay there and provides their families with a rest from their role as carers.
