Aberlour response to the call for evidence on the UNCRC bill

As an organisation that has children’s rights at the heart of the work we do every day with children, young people, and families, we are committed to supporting, promoting, and protecting children and young people’s human rights.

Incorporation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) will ensure the universal rights of children and young people are rooted and protected in domestic law. This is essential if Scotland is to be a country where the human rights of all our citizens, including children and young people, are embedded across all aspects of our society.
