John Coe
Director of Finance & Resource
John has over 15 years’ experience working in Finance, with a background in internal auditing, external auditing and charity finance. He previously worked with two Glasgow Based Audit and Accountancy firms, where he was an Audit Senior, working on large companies, colleges and charities. He joined Aberlour in 2013 as a Senior Finance Officer, then moving to the position of Finance Manager where he gained his ACCA qualification in 2017. John took on the position of Director of Finance & Resources in 2022.
John has been involved in many of Aberlour’s developments and successes over the past few years, and leads the Finance & Resources team supporting Aberlour services across Scotland. He helped lead the Finance & Resources department through systems and structural change and is keen to explore new ways of working, digital enhancements to systems and reporting.
John sits on the board of a local amateur dramatics charity group in Larbert, as well as board member of a local community charity in Alloa.
